7 Steps to Happiness is a self-paced digital curriculum that brings “learning from the trail to life” with HD videos recorded from the High Sierra Loop in Yosemite National Park. This course also features guided visualizations and meditations, my own personal learning + a downloadable pdf worksheet.

I created this course for those ready + willing to step into happiness no matter what other circumstances you’re working with outside of yourself. My hope for all of you is the feeling of ultimate freedom, peace, and awakening of your heart and soul. This course will deepen your sense of self and guide you towards choice, freedom + alignment with what sets your soul on fire!

As a former art teacher/department co-chair turned stay-at-home mom + now professional wilderness guide + coach, I have taken my classroom to the outdoors where I teach from forest floors, in Canyons, under shooting stars or high above waterfalls + rivers running below! In this digital course, you won’t find me sitting on a sofa or at a desk while teaching. No, instead I hiked the High Sierra Loop with my niece + along the way found perfect spots where I connect with nature + thus, connect nature with YOU.

Module One: Self Awareness + Self Acceptance

  • As I guide you through the process of connecting with nature in this video, listen to the bugs, birds + the view and the sound of the waterfall. In this module, we begin the process of deep-diving into who you are as a human being. We do so by setting intentions and uncovering your personal values. This is an incredibly powerful module + one you may choose to come back to over + over again.

Module Two: Allowing Yourself to Live with No Regrets

  • We all experience turbulent times in our life. And let’s face it. It’s through our shakeups, it’s through the storms in life and the earthquakes that hit us, that we are handed an opportunity to learn and grow. And when we grow and understand ourselves on a deeper level, we create a more stable foundation in life. In this module, we’ll uncover how to live life in choice and how to make your life one you look forward to living each day.

Module Three: Vulnerability is a Sign of Strength

  • In this video + module, you will learn how being vulnerable creates a space for you to tell your story. It gives you permission to both achieve + fail. In this video, we’ll rediscover what it means to live just BE in a state of awe and wonder and light up the inner child who longs to love life.

Module Four: The Importance of Self-Love

  • This video was filmed with a view of Clouds Rest + Half Dome and serves as a great metaphor for life. Sometimes we can see where we are going but we don’t know how we’ll get there. It can seem so far off and scary. In this module, we use this metaphor to encourage finding joy in the journey and allowing our lives to unfold before us in the way they are meant to, embracing and loving all the parts of who you are along the way.

Module Five: A Belief in Something So Much Bigger Than Yourself

  • This module is about deepening the connection within self + with who we are. It’s about believing there is something so much bigger + greater in this world than each one of us. Nature + these mountains provide us with another perspective within our life.

Module Six: Set Healthy Boundaries

  • We all need to set healthy boundaries in our life. In this module we talk about why we need boundaries and HOW to set and hold them with ourselves and with others in a way that serves our highest happiness.

Module Seven: The Power of Forgiveness 

  • In this final module, we talk about the most power and pivotable piece of healing – forgiveness. In this step we clearly define forgiveness and what it means to forgive ourselves, others, and the world. The only way to step out of darkness + let the sun rise is by allowing the light in. Forgiveness is a beautiful tool to make that happen.
