If you wouldn’t want your best friend to be treated in the way that you are right now, stop accepting this treatment yourself. Drop a 👏 if you agree.

This is how it’s done. This is a sign from the Universe, friends. Most would brush over it, but not me. Listen for moments like this. When the timing is just so perfect that you couldn’t have choreographed it better yourself. When things like this happen, I know that life is in alignment with the stars. That I’m walking in true north (in my values), in the direction of purpose, and to keep going.
It’s not about the artwork. Though I love the love! It’s not about the video. It’s not coincidence. It’s a message. And it’s all timing.
Don’t miss these moments in your own life. Listen. Awareness. Pay very close attention.
THIS IS HOW IT’S DONE.
Have a beautiful Friday and weekend ahead!
Laugh a little more, as well. It’s good for your soul.

This week on Live Boldly with Sara, I sit down with former NFL Running Back and Football Analyst, @merrilhoge for a captivating conversation where he shares his wisdom on sports, parenting, leadership, and the mantra that has guided him throughout his life: “𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆.”
Merril reflects on his journey as a father, player, and leader, highlighting the transformative power of self-reflection. He also emphasizes the importance of patience and perspective in parenting, urging us to remember that children don’t think like adults.
Merril Hoge’s life story is nothing short of 𝘢𝘸𝘦-𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨. He soared to fame with eight incredible seasons as a running back for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears. But, it was a life-altering moment during a road game against the Kansas City Chiefs in 1994 that would set him on a profound and transformative journey.
Merril reminds us that our actions speak louder than words, especially when it comes to our children. We are responsible for modeling the right behavior, and for setting the example that they will follow.
In this episode, we talk about sports, parenting sports kids, leadership, and his slogan by which to live your life: “Find a Way”. This is an inspiring conversation, let’s dive in!

As I was keynoting to 250-plus people, my son was taking his permit test. We both passed! And this is my proud reaction to @_christiankranz .. I am so, so proud of you!
“When faced with difficulties, so often our instinct is to become smaller. Yet what we need to do is to make the BOLD MOVE and rise above the fray.”
Thank you to Pittsburgh Human Resources Association - PHRA for the opportunity to speak today. What an incredible group and an honor! I was moved by the number of notes being taken from the audience, and I’m excited to watch you all make your BOLD MOVES.
>> Let’s make BOLD MOVES together. And together, let’s create a world of BELONGING.
IT’S AN HONOR to share my “How.”
5-key components that will redefine your relationships, your culture, and how you operate.
Looking for a speaker? MESSAGE ME.
I’d love to share these components with your organization. Or better yet, let’s workshop this out.
It’s wild to see how far my life has come over 10-years. From divorced, traumatized by betrayal, no career, I stopped teaching to raise my family, and I had no idea of my direction.
Today, I love this work! Speaking, published author, leading men and women on life-changing journeys through the Grand Canyon, Alaska, and the San Juan Mountains.
This work.. works.
In gratitude, always.

I get it. We all go through hard times. And yet, on the other side of those hard times, you deserve happiness. You deserve love. You deserve to be obsessed with your life. Where you wake every morning and want to live awake.
And if you are not? Let’s talk. Because you, my friend, deserve to be obsessed in every beautiful way.
